FEZ
The cultural capital of the country, the oldest Imperial City with The Medina, declared Patrimony Mankind by the UNESCO, Mosques, Medersas, artistic quarters and thousand of narrow streets.
MEKNES
Imperial City, 40 km walled surrounded, is the center of one of the most important agricultural regions of the country.
MARRAKECH
"The red city", pearl of the south, at the food of the High Atlas, with its snow covered mountains, its thousand of palm trees and J´emaa el Fna Square with folk dancers, snake charmers, story tellers and the big "Zoco".
RABAT
Capital of the Morocco Kingdom and principal administrative center with the biggest university of the country, elegant quarters and large gardens.
CASABLANCA
Is the industrial city, modern and cosmopolitan, large avenues, big buildins, and with the monument of this last century: The Mosque "Hassan II", really impressive.
AGADIR
A modern touristic area, nice beaches, hotels, nautical sports, golf, tennis etc.
TANGER
Just at 14 km. From Europe by boat, beaches, markets, contrasting of similar boulevards and the Medina.
OUARZAZATE
Between the two most important valleys in Morocco, the Dra valley and the Dades Valley, is at the entrance for tours through the desert as the Kasbahs Tour route.

 

Population: 28 millions inhabitants

 

 

Geography: 710.850 Km (2.900 of Atlantic coasts and 500 km of Mediterranean coasts)

 

Language: Official language is Arab, although most of Moroccan people also speak Spanish, English and French.

 

 

 

 

 

   

Climate: Hours of sun by year is superior to 8 hours per day, with a medium temperature of 21 º C.

Gastronomy:

The Moroccan cooking with its fine fruit and vegetables kissed by the sun, extraordinary spices and perfumes, excellent fish and tasty meats, is one of the best eastern cooking and a feast for the palate also famous worldwide. Try not no use the cutlery and try to eat with your fingers, Moroccan style.

   
 
 
Currency: Moroccan currency is Dirham (DH) divided in 100 cents. There are pieces of 10, 20 , 50, 100, 200 and coins of 1, 5 DH and 10 , 20 and 50 cents. You can only get dirhams in Morocco.
 
 

Shopping: Walking through the Souks will bring to your senses a special feeling, but nothing compared bargaining practise that you will be able to do, smiling while having a mint tea.

 
Documentation: Passport is obligatory, and for some countries a Visa Document will be also required.
