Riads

   
Riads are traditional guest houses that are often renovated and restored homes of wealthy Moroccan families. There is an enormous amount of variety as a result of the individual nature of the accommodations and Riads vary from humble and rustic homes to sumptuous, luxurious palaces. Mostly decorated with regional fabrics and exotic handicrafts, Riads also often have their own internal patios and sometimes their very own hammam, or traditional steam bath. Best of all, many of these homes are located in the most sought after parts of the city and often inside the walls of the Medina (old city). Many Riads are ancient but have been transformed in such a way as to combine the best of the old with the new - enchanting earthenware and raw colours with the finest of life's little indulgences. This is the ideal way to experience the 'real' Morocco in style.
   
LA VILLA DES ORANGERS - MARRAKESH

Luxurious riad with spectactular views of the famous Koutoubia Minaret, walking distance to the Djemaa el Fna square. Restored by a French husband and wife team, this palatial residence offers 16 rooms and suites across two levels, 2 exquisite courtyards, rooftop swimming pool, massage cabin and fine dining restaurant. RIAD KNIZA - MARRAKECH

Dating from the 18th century, Riad Kniza is a small, luxury "Hotel de Charme" in the heart of the old Médina of Marrakech, completely restored by Haj Mohamed Bouskri using traditional materials and artisans to recreate an authentic Moroccan experience as in days gone by.

 

RIAD DAMIA - FES

Nestled within the walls of the Old Medina of Fez, yet accessible by car, Riad Damia is a exquisitely maintained masters residence blending the beauty of Andalouse tradition with modern amenities. Our house consists of a splendidly and elegantly appointed top-floor apartment, five suites and two bedrooms. The central patio provides an oasis of calm and relaxation.

 
RIAD MAISON BLEUE - FES

The main courtyard, with its swimming pool and garden is surrounded by three deluxe rooms and a Moorish salon. The eleven deluxe rooms and two standard rooms of the Riad are each equipped with an ensuite bathroom, reverse-cycle airconditioning, telephone, televison, internet access, mini bar and room safe.Three terraces offer breathtaking views of the Fes Medina. It is on these terraces that, when the weather is warm, you will be served your Moroccan breakfasts, lunches or dinners. In the winter, our restaurant, set up in the covered courtyard provides the setting where you will dine on traditional home cooked dishes.

 

CASA HASSAN - CHOUEN

In this religious and tourist city, perched on the hill and into the heart of the Medina, there is an exceptional site, Casa Hassan / Dar Baibo, two guesthouses of charming traditional Moroccan architecture with artistic decoration unique crafts of the region, neat and refined.

 

RIAD HOTEL BATOUL - MARRAKECK

The hotel’s 18 rooms and suites, combine the typical Moroccan decoration with luxury materials and the most advanced assistance of a high standing hotel. The 6 suites are fabulous for their dimensions and decorations, having bathrooms with columns and round arches.

 

RIAD EL YACOUT - FES

Riad El Yacout is a fassi house in the medina restored on the norms and of tradition by the artisans of Fez (Fès), classified city universal heritage.

Winter garden with central fountain, Moroccan living room, Hammam, sculpted cedar doors , luxuriously equipped suites and 2 terraces giving a nice view on the medina of Fez(Fes).

 

HOTEL VILLA MAROC - ESSAOUIRA

Probably the most famous riad in the city and one of the best, Villa Maroc is two 18th century original riads, joined together around a central courtyard. Noted for its famous restaurant, Villa Maroc serves delicious Moroccan specialites in the relaxed lounges, in the patio or the rooftop terrace, weather permitting. The bedrooms are warm and tasteful and the house itself is pained in a cool blue and white theme. There are 10 rooms, 2 suites, 2 apartments and a hammam.
